Scrape absolutely blown clean by stand. Here’s to hoping it’s a late season cruiser which is hunkered down with a doe and will come back by.

Good luck S McArthur. Got a look at Fergie tonight. I was out with my rifle guy at work gave me a doe tag to try to fill for him and we would split the meat but no luck. Little buck walked up to me about 15yds. He’s done if that happens next week if we are in reach.

Only a doe came by, didn’t shoot. I’ve got a few more bow hunts in me and my reduction properties I can technically hunt nearly all of January so could make it happen yet for us

I’m going to shoot this little fork buck if he screws my day up again. 9 dang doe/fawn mix feeding down my way. Every one of them stop, look down the field ears in alert and here comes ol dumbass beebopping up to them. Momma doe wanted nothing to do with and they all head off in the other direction. If I could have caught his ass I would have fought him.

I’m giving up, owners son is back in town and will be rifle hunting at the property, so that makes 4 rifle hunters on 42 acres.
Sorry to let the team down, but it’s not my season this year.

I’ll be back at it tomorrow with the crossbow sitting in the stand I shot my buck back on the 21st. It’s had plenty of time to settle down. Should be there around 630 and hunt until 11. Then have to pick up my daughter from work then I probably won’t get out until next Sunday.

That would be a lot of fun. But it’s around 16-17 hour drive and a little to close to Christmas and my anniversary :violin:

Who is still out hunting? I can certainly go get a late season doe for 50 points but we need at least 165+ points
