Ok just a little difference then. I always thought spot and stalk bow hunt for mule deer would be a great hunt. I get tired sitting in tree stand, lol

Last year I did I think four stocks. Got within 25 yards of one little buck and I blew the shot. The one thing with Mule deer sometimes they will run 10 to 20 yards stop and look back at you. Not all the time but sometimes. Last year up in Idaho on a rifle hunt with my son. We did over half a mile stock to get within 200 yards of them before they bolted. The last buck happened to Stop on top of the ridge and look back at us. That was the last thing he did. Spot and stock does keep you active

The wife and I went across the road and pulled the four cameras I have over there. I had lots of doe pics on the NE corner camera and almost nothing on the others.

I'm glad I had Arkansas to fall back on this year where the contest is concerned.

Next season should be totally different. I missed practically all of the Kentucky early season this year and I have two spots lined up where I should be able to kill a buck the first weekend. With just a little bit of luck I could have all my points on the scorecard the first week of September.

Make sure they are long sits. Or you may lose the bet. Then we’ll have to find some nickname like the pink commando:woot:

Early season the sits will be short. I’ll only see a buck the first and last half hour of daylight.

With 120 hours I can keep the sits to an hour and hunt two sits every day for two straight months. months.

Don’t get too cocky. I can always shoot a doe and a spike for 100 points and you get to wear them. :lmao2:

You didn’t specify a size on the buck.

But you agreed to the redemption clause! If I end up wearing them you will too! 110% Even if I have to drop a dump truck full of corn on the ground to get it done! You want me to send you my pink panties or are you going to buy your own?

No backing out now! I took the screen shots!!! :tu:

I don’t know if I even should share this. It’s probably been 30 years ago. There were four of us that duck hunted together for about four or five years. We had all served together in the Army. Coming home from one particular duck hunt. We stopped at little café. Out of the four of us two of them drank and two of us didn’t. They had a few beers in them and a bet was pursued. How I let them talk me into it I do not know. Anyway on our next hunt. The bet was we only take seven shells and whoever shot the least amount of birds have to get a picture of them with hip boots and a Speedo on and nothing else. With a picture of being taken out in the marsh. After it was all said and done two of them got four birds and me and one of my other buddies only got three birds. Of course our wives thought this was hilarious. Back then we were Young and in shape. The picture got taken we all had a good laugh. After four or five years one of my buddies died of cancer one got divorced and we all went our separate ways except for one that I stay in touch with quite a bit. We had totally forgot about that picture. It was either 2008 or 2009 that picture shows up on a duck hunting forum me and my buddy were on.
So LC these things come back to haunt you somehow:whip:

IDK, I think a onesie qualifies. May need to get a ruling on this!

The temps are rising and some of the snow is starting to melt.

I'm going to try to head back to Arkansas on Sunday morning. I don't really have a way of making sure the roads are drivable between Searcy, Arkansas and Hazen, Arkansas, but I figure if they're bad I'll slow down, put the truck in 4WD and take my time.

Not only do I want to get back after that buck, but I also have a nagging feeling that I need to check on my travel trailer that's parked there.
