I used a little Mod magic and added the pic from your second post to your first post. Then I deleted your second post.

No need to apologize. It was an easy fix.

By the way, how did you post that score pic originally? It’s not the first time someone has posted a pic that I got an error on and I haven’t been able to figure out why. It would help if I knew what format you posted it in.

I always use my phone. But I initially forgot to add that specific picture to my original post and tried to edit the post and add the picture.

    Ah! That explains it.

When you have a minute I’d like you to try something for me.

Go to one of your posts and click edit. At the bottom see if you have a “More Options” button.

And littlechief gets to post us as leaders for the moment. Small way to get a smile on his face despite the shot struggles I bet.

shake it off brother, I kinda agree slap a climber on a tree, have a target out at 25 and draw through, progress to anchor slam a few confidence shots and you’ll be good brother

Oh, we have more points coming.

You’re right Ty. It does put a little smile on my face to see us in first. It might be temporary but it might be permanent.

I do plan to practice, but I don’t think my problem is form in a stand. I think my problem is wanting it too much. I don’t have target panic and I wouldn’t call it “buck fever”. I’m just getting rattled when I get a shot at a deer. Any deer.

I think it started when I botched the shot on the second biggest buck I’ve ever shot at earlier this season and wounded him in the shoulder.

From that point forward I’ve felt anxiety and second guessed myself at every shot opportunity.

What I need is to make a couple of good shots on deer. I need to do something to get my confidence back.

Chief, after I missed that doe at your place, I've been dead on since. I also say "bend at the waist, bend at the waist" like 100 times and talk through each thing on the shot "checklist". Talk yourself through each before you shoot, it may take an extra second or two but it's helped me slow down and make sure I'm doing things correctly.
I had some bad shots last year, I think I shot two in the spine, back to back (no pun intended), and it all started when I missed that huge buck, like the biggest buck I've ever seen/had a chance at.
Slow things down, talk yourself though your shot.

That's the plan haha! Going to go out late season to hopefully smack one. Laid down three this past week with the rifle, and try to get 5 total off the land per year. Not a fan of freezing my butt off, but never have killed a late season deer so would be epic.

Well Ty maybe if you took some more time to score your deer than correct people's terrible and ridiculous habitat comments and suggestions on facebook we'd be in first place right now on the scorecard

Proud husband right here. My wife has been a saint these past 5 years watching our kids while I worked on improving both my own and my client properties, and she wanted to get back in the stand this year as one of her goals. I was able to get her out this past week for our Wisconsin gun season and she took this great buck. This buck was a great opportunity for her to get the hunting drive again. 210 yard shot, double lung....stone cold killer. IMG_2934 (1).jpg IMG_2917.jpg

Ty where do you take your deer? Take your euros to your main taxidermist?

I do have more options but I believe it’s just a “multi quote” bubble

When you go in to edit a post, if you have the “More Options” button at the bottom you can click it and then you can add additional pics. It opens a second level of editing and it took me forever to figure that out.

Of course, I don’t know if everyone has that ability or just Moderators and Admins.
