checking trail cams today. the deer haven't been moving due to the heat. ill be out next thursday thru sunday, looking for this guy

Heading back to ND next Tuesday for a few days... Mixed bag of waterfowl and deer... Lets hope I come back with both.

 

I'm excited! Last week of work before my hunting trip. I'm heading down to my lease on Sunday for a week of nothing but hunting. Been looking forward to this all summer!

jordan i think that bad boy will show up, hopefully this cold weather will get those legs movin.

 

I haven't hunted much yet this Fall but that will change starting this weekend.

I'll be hunting ND this Sat and Sun and I have a week off coming up to hunt in MN from Oct 29 - Nov 6.

 

Getting ready to head to my lease. Be back in a week hopefully with some points to put on the board.

 

Seems pretty quiet here. Any updates? I will finally be heading back out this weekend. Looks like the temps will be coming down and the Halloween weekend hunt is usually pretty interesting here in WI. I can't wait. Hopefully my food plot will be heating up.

 

i agree with you. how is everyone! if any havent yet sent me there number (if you want) i have been taxting a few of you guys. i will be heading out nov 2nd. i hope to pop a slick head.

 

Hunting sucked this past weekend...hot and winding on Sat and I sat in the rain on Sunday morning then it got hot again later in the day...didn't see a single deer all weekend

I will have next week off from work for a hunt in MN....hoping for better weather

Well it was my last day at WORK for the next 17 days i will be in a tree!!!!!!

i have waited for this day to come for awhile now. I've been out a few times with no luck. I came to fulldraw once but she wouldn't turn broadside.

Oh yea i didn't loss the farm, i am still welcomed so i will be there tomorrow mourning.

Good job.

I was out this weekend in Central WI. Saw some spikes and forks out cruising as well as a handful of does without any chasers. If the weather is good next weekend, there should be lots of chasing and more shot opportunities.

 

Way to go Chris! Congrats brother!!! You still have plenty of time for a buck, and it's heating up out there.. good luck and stay on 'em!

 

nothing moving in daylight in northern Illinois. got 5 shooters, does and at least 6 dinks on the trail-cams all at night. my wife shot a doe on Wednesday, hopefully next week the rut will be rippen and get some points on the board! ill post a few pics!
