GA bein captain is fine with me to, as far the name bloody arrow, sounds good to me. i cant come up with anything better.
Only 3 more wake-ups before I'll be hunting, I can't wait! I'll be hunting public land or a small piece of private land until the first weekend of October. That will be my first trip to my lease that is 4 hours away. I usually see 3 times the deer activity on the lease. I'm pumped up for this season. I spent Labor Day washing my camo and organizing my hunting stuff, and got everything ready to go!
Good luck GA! I am also going to try to make it out to ND for a hunt this weekend. I have never hunted the property before so i'm not sure what to expect...but I know the area holds big bucks.
Just checked my schedule for the end of Oct thru Nov. i have 17 days off. Man i'll be in a Tree for 15 days no hunting on sundays so thats 2 days off
Well its like Christmas Eve today!! Tomorrow is opening day!!!!!! The temps are up a little bit from earlier in the week, but no where close to the high 90s we were at last week. Hopefully sometime tomorrow I'll be posting some pics!!! Good luck to all that will be out this weekend. I'll be at my lease from Oct 23-29, which will offer my best chance to arrow a buck. Until then its mostly public land and you all know how that can be.
Good luck on tomorrow's hunt and good luck getting any sleep tonight. I can never sleep the night before open. I can hardly wait for the WI season to open up. I plan to hunt the first five days of the season, so I'm hoping to rack up at least 50 points off the bat.
Well...with near 90 degree temps this weekend I decided it would not be worthwhile to drive out to my spot in ND. I looks like it is going to cool off quite a bit next week which should make for better deer activity. Does anyone know how to make an avatar for our team?
We had great opening day temps for GA. Temp was mid 50s this morning. I had 4 does at about 65 yards. Thought they may come up the trail on my back side, but they stayed on the main trail. Any way great start to my season, since we usually have high 90 degree temps here on opening day.
16 DAYS AND A WAKE UP!!!!!!!!! Going to pull my camera card on my Trail camera today hoping to see some good hard horns!!!!!! anybody seeing hard horns????????????
