K12, my sweetie. Shooting bigheads rocks. (tiring but literally boatloads of fun) I have yet to shoot a really big, bighead. Even the little ones are good sized tho'. Like my Yoko Ono glasses? Of course, I need to add a picture that includes my truck, dog and dead stuff. (Me looking glamorous after dragging big stinky rodents out of the brush waaaaay too early in the morning, and my pup trying make friends with 'em)
Heck Christine, I never saw one of those ugly fish. How big do they get? Look like a cross between a carp, bass and salmon. LOL What do you do with them....use 'em for fertilizer? LOL
Here's the current record bighead. Darin's fish weighed 92.5 lbs. Most bigheads we get into are between 20-30 lbs. They're slimy, ugly fish but they taste good. White flaky meat, much like buffalo (fish). They're bony tho' so we usually just take the ribs. http://www.illinoisbowfishers.com/asiancarpchops.pdf The commercial catfishermen often take them for cut bait. My dog likes to eat 'em and lots of them end up in the garden too. I have to drive quite a bit south to get into them. The illinois river is generally too muddy to shoot bigheads. (can't see 'em) :D
Mitch.... Honda SUCKS Ken.... Steelers SUCK And this photo is fo' all my gangsta's out there.... what up homies :d
I guess he was saving the "hotspots" for himself. Or he had a guide that knows what he is doing showing him around Texas......
This is a SHARP ride, all de-badged and stuff. Makes me wanna put the new shoes on my 25-hundo (as Buckeye calls it) that are sittin' in the garage. NICE ride!
