Well, the scenery was fantastic (college town ) and the food was incredible. Them folks in Oklahoma sure do know how to BBQ, man that was fantastic! AND......they're all math wizards, huh Dubbya? LMAO Keep checking in because the 4 of us have some pictures we're going to be uploading as well as share some stories. I got home around 9:30 yesterday evening and had to work this morning so I haven't had time to put a story together yet. Scott isn't home yet, and he's headed to the Illinois Deer Classic on Wednesday, so I'm not sure when he'll get time, and Dave....well........You already got his update. LOL To summarize it extremely briefly, we had just an incredible time. My ribs still hurt from laughing so much. Dubbya is just a stand up guy and was extremely gracious in letting the 3 of us hoodlums stay with him. He worked really hard to get us pigs but it just didn't pan out. I did manage to shoot one Friday evening, but after an incredible blood trail, many hours, and many layers of skin lost we just weren't able to make a recovery. I'll be doing a broadhead review on the head I used, so keep an eye out for that as well. This trip really meant an aweful lot to me. The three of them are just top shelf, and their sense of humor is second to none, at no matter who's expense...LMAO..... I get a little sentimental at times, but I hope those guys know how important this was to me. I'll forever remember this trip, and I hope we can do it again in the not too distant future. Now, if you'll all excuse me, I'm off to install a window air conditioning unit in the rear window of my pickup. Later.
In due time this will all make sense....it is pretty incredible how this came to be. :d I'll be posting a picture-laden update when Dubbya zips me over the files. Until then, just note, the food was good.
That freakin duck jerky is incredible!! As was the rib crib, vans......Taco Bueno......Ummmm.......BJ's was awesome as well. Gotta love those Pazzoni's!!
So... no bacon, huh? Still sounds like you ate/drank well and had the time of your lives. Gotta see the pix!
It ended up being a food tour of Norman, OK. Sadly no, the F-15 was nocked each set, but never fired. The hogs were sly this past weekend.
