I had been tracking this buck for 5 weeks......I had been within 50 yards three times and could not get him to come any closer, So I figured I would give it one last sit before the Illinois gun opener. I did not want a gun hunter to harvest him. Looks like the last minute sit worked out for me.......His neck measures 30" behind the ears and 36" center neck.......Guessing he's around 170"

Wow that is huge. I know how big a 28" neck on a buck is, and that one was 30". Wow.
    Congrats.

You certainly put some bruisers down. The shots look horrible but they obviously work. Where did you hit the latest one? No pass through?

    Congrats

This reply is for Gr8atta2d. There is nothing wrong with any of my shots. All three bucks died within 50 yards. The big one in the timber with the would by his flank was not from my arrow but from when he fell down a slope. And the buck on top from this year was a slight quartering away shot at 10 yards and he jumped so fast he snapped my arrow off with about 10 inches of it in him, so no exit wound but it was a heart shot and he only went 40 yards.
