I traded off my old F-1fiddy last week for one with the newer body style. Its amazing all the changes they have made to the F-150s in just a few years.

So far it has 700 miles on it and I am loving it. It is much nicer than my '06 was and much more comfortable.

All I have at the moment is some crappy cell phone pics. I can't find any batteries for the camera :(

i'm still ridin my 05 f150 S-Crew lariat... I plan on having it for another 6-10yrs... just about 65k on the ticker and it hasn't some much as hiccuped... needs some new tires though, probably pop for some rims when I do get 'em though... I think I'm going to hold onto this truck (unless there is a MAJOR problem with it) and pass it down to LilSevenMag... he'll be driving in a little over 6yrs...

btw - nice truck, i really like the new F150's... my dad is about to get one here after the first of the year...

You need rip off the tailgate, kick a couple dents in the door panel, crack your windshield and throw some beer cans in the bed........................that way you'll fit in up in Oklahoma:D

Good looking truck, 2wd or 4wd?

How's the 6spd? Or is that only available with the 5.4? I've often wondered how those heavy trucks move with the 4.6, but I see MORE STX package trucks on the road than XLTs it seems.

I love the crimson in the 'X'... maybe if you guys would have scored a point in the bedlam game they would have given you an orange one. :D

That's what I was wondering about the 4.6. Many people claim the 5.4 is underpowered let alone the 4.6. It's a sharp looking truck though.

I do like the new body style, but I wish they would up the power as well. My next truck's gonna likely be a Tundra or a 2500 Chev with a 6.0 in it.

2011 has the power concerns addressed... new v6 making 305hp and pulling 30mpg in the mustang... also, they are expecting a 400+hp v8 to be intro'd in the truck line in 2011 also... granted, this isn't official, just what a friend of mine tells me who happens to be an engineer in dearborn...

fwiw - i've got the 5.4 in mine, while its not going to win any drag races with a hemi or a tundra, but it hauls everything i've ever hooked up to it and it tows like a madman regardless... and frankly, i'm not drag racing my truck anyway, so as long as it does everything i need it to, i'm fine with it... and my 65,000 mile 2005 still rides/drives better than my bros 07 ram and my coworkers 08 silverado... the motor is the only place the f150 gives up anything to the other guys... everything else is head and shoulder above...

    My truck has the 4.6

Like 7mag said, it's not winning any drag races. I can't really speak for the power department though. My '06 had the 4.2 V6, so I am thrilled with anything bigger :D

cheers, it really doesn't bother me, I love the interior on the new chevy's, [borat voice] very nice [/borat voice] and the GMC is a great looking truck... I've said for years that if you could put a chevy interior into a ford chassis with a cummins diesel you'd have the best truck made...
