That snow KILLED us yeseterday! Driving down it was pretty much all rain and perfect conditions for shedding. The minute we showed up and parked the truck it started snowing and didn't stop for the entire 6 hours we were there. Without a doubt it was the most miserable shed hunt of my life!

OHbowhunter,,,Dude I totally remember that guy :) now that would be awesome if you put the hammer on him ;) congrats GREAT find!!
Justin, now that blows with the weather after the long trip :( I feel for ya bud!
Well gents, Im on top of the world after todays find. Looks like there was a 154" buck that made it through and I found one of his sheds today :) 68 5/8 inches of it. The H-1 mass measurement is 5 1/8 and a 22" MB. This guys is a stud!! The shed was found not far from a giant scrape, a 6 footer  I also found where he is bedding on a high ridge overlooking the lower wood line where I found the shed and over looking the field. He has the wind to his back and is bedding in nasty spoil banks. Its almost foolproof for him where he is bedding. Call me crazy but the bedding area has about 5 different BIG beds with very course belly hair from shedding the winter coat in all of them. There his beds, I just know it ;) My son and me looked all over for the other side with no luck :( Its not over, just got to expand the search area ;) Captain put me down for # 11

Way to go Blood! Very nice shed! Looks like you are getting closer! Oh wait one second forgot about this! I went out today and saw a MONSTER still packing both sides. There was also some other bucks still packing one or both antlers. I checked an area that not many people have check due to the nasty stuff I had to go through with thorn bushes and all. My arms look like I got in a fight with three cats and the claws tore me up! Now that I found this spot it is a secret due to kicking up at least 100 deer and that is NO JOKE! It is a spot that you are not allowed to hunt but is also private property. I do know that three others have permission to shed hunt it as well as I do. While I was watching this monster, I stopped walking to try and get my camera out to take pictures and saw this at my feet so I missed the buck! This is one MONSTER shed! HE HE HE I am going back out tomorrow after work too to check another spot then thursday is going to be an all dayer with that secret spot being hit hard! I only walked for about a hour and half tonight!

I am heading out again now and hope to get the big 10 that was packing early this week. Want to get it before the squirrels. The rain held off so I hope that it passes tomorrow because that is when I am going to hit it hard. My wife and two daughters went to Florida without me due to not being able to get the time off work. My two sons are home but they both are 18 and working! Woo Hoo! Free time is a good thing but I do miss my three girls!

I went out for about 3 hours today kicking up a nice herd with no antlers on any deer! I only hit about 1/4 of the spot and then had to come home. I did manage to come up with one small 4 point shed that the squirrels found before I did. I am going to hit my honey hole tomorrow really hard and hope to find that big boys sheds. I hope they dropped! It is supposed to rain so that will help him shake them off for me! "Crossing Fingers!" Here is my shed from today!

My kids got me that for a gift and they found it on Ebay! I typed in "Carved Antler Necklace" and found a bunch of them.

WOW! I am shocked! I went to my honey hole and did not find one antler! Got a picture of a bird that I have never seen before! Does anyone know what type of a bird this is?

Well me and the boy went out today and put a few miles on our boots but no sheds.

I dont know whats going on. I checked almost everywhere I can think of there...trails, tons of beds, creek crossings. I found 2 dead deer and a buck skull with the rack cut off.:(

Then I decided to really test the camera on my phone and let me tell you, for a cell phone, this thing can take some good pics.

Blood I am in the same boat with girls softball. Both my girls playing so will be running all over since one is on travel league and the other on city league. LOL Squirrels should be destroying them now too so I only have a few more runs at finding some. I jumped a buck today with half a rack and I found this guy with half a rack!
