Took dogs for walk tonight and this is what flew in a tree by my house! He got to the point where he was tired of me so he did this at me!
Dropping off the daughter at school then hitting the woods. Going to be a nice day today with 63 degrees and sunny! Ready to hit the woods! Hope to come home with something!
Well Blood, now you are down a couple more! LOL I still saw some packing and hope they drop soon! I went into the part of the woods that was flooded and found both of these. They both where a little drity but not sure if they where under water or not. Got a good picture of a Blue Heron! I am not sure what kind of eggs these are either but they where all over the creek that runs through the timber. I am guessing maybe tree frogs or some kind of frog.
Well you dawg you :D congrats pal Just when I thought I was caught back up you slam two more in :D but i couldnt be happier for you I found an old shed today that im still trying to decide if its an earlier shed from the buck I killed last season and I also have his set of sheds from the year before. Its ashame that I somehow missed this shed for two years now and I have been within 20 yards of it I found three total this morning that would be # 8,9 and 10 for me captain I came home for a bite to eat then its back out for a bit. Them when my son gets home from school we are both back at it again The first old shed, its/was a slammer but very chewed # 9 for the year # 10 for the year It must have been a good day for right sides :D
Way to go Blood! I am heading out now that I saw my wife and two daughters off to Florida! I could not get time off work but that just means more free time after work so I will be a hunting fool this week! LOL Keep it up now we need to get our teamates to pick up the pace and we are in like flynn!
Well, you could tell it was a nice day! I hit a public spot and I guess I was not the only one that wanted to look at that spot. I bumped into 4 other shed hunters and only one had a shed. I came home empty handed!
You are on the board now! Woo Hoo! Great antler and it is always nice to find a shed that you have pictures of the deer with it on. I found a set last year with trail cam pics of the deer also. If you go to the thread at top that refers to pictures of deer and sheds you can see him. I posted him as an example! He is a 7x5 and both antlers are very nice and will hit NASHC record books.
10 hours of driving, 7 hours of walking, one flat tire, and two stolen treestands, and one shed to show for it all. Remind me again why I keep doing this?? Anywho - one more on the board for me. Brings my total to 3! Woo Woo!
That blows Justin! I have had a stand stolen and I was very angry due to even having a cable and lock on it. Then they cut my strap on straps so that they can not be used again. I have been half temped to put GPS on my stands that way I can bust the son of a B that is taking all the stuff in the area. Do you have any pics of your shed yet? Would like to see it! Great find and sorry about your stands!
Here you go Dawg! I'll be doing a full write-up on this particular shed as we have some history with this buck. Good to see he's still around.
What is all that white stuff on the ground? We got rain here in Pontiac! It is always nice to find sheds that you have seen or shot at or have pics of! I have a match set that I have three trail cam pics of. I posted them in the Trail Camera to Shed thread!
