    She is fantastic looking!

Now you need to tap into her lab side for the phesants and use her cattle dog side for the all day endurance. Perfect!

Greg, they are herding dogs. They are highly athletic dogs that love to run and be a pain in the butt. :) I have a 10 year old cattle dog/lab mix right now. She is still athletic and can jump like crazy.

Brett, she is gorgeous! She will love your family to death, but I am sure she will be a handfull;)

I want to thank you for giving a shelter dog a home, my wife and I spent countless hours and money helping with a local rescue organization. We get a lot of sporting dog mixes from Southern Illinois, the ones that have hours before being euthanized. I love purebred dogs and we occasionally get some but so many careless owners end up dumping litters without conscience. I hope she brings you and the family years of happiness!

Thank you raceway. This will be the 3rd rescue dog we have purchased in the last 10 years. My wife used to bring home dogs as part of a rescue organization..then she would want me to adopt them all...lol. I can't wait to come home from work on Saturday and see the new puppy.

Good luck Virginia! I recommend you getting 3-4 kong toys and having them ready to go in the freezer with yogurt or peanut butter in them.

Thanks Fast, I have used Kongs in the past and will again. Both of my older children picked out toys for the puppy and are excited. Both my kids prior to bed tonight spoke of the little girl coming to live with us on Saturday. They are like electrons bouncing around right now.....
