My family cannot wait to get our new puppy on Saturday! Here is our new little girl...her mother is a pure breed lab and the father is a known cattle dog that had a little relationship with her. :)

Thanks Jeff, my kids are out of this world excited. We had a home visit from the rescue organization tonight and my kids were badgering them by asking them a million questions about when we were getting "our puppy". I think the guy just relented and said yes. :) I have not had a puppy myself in 7 years and this will be my kid's first puppy. We are very happy.

Cute as can be Brett. Get ready for the Holy Terror that is Lab. I've got a 1 1/2 year old Retriever/Lab/whatever got her last puppy and she hasn't stop tearing up stuff since day 1. Miley just came back from obedience training, the next day she redug six of her holes I filled while she was away, LOL. I can't wait for the day she grows out of the puppy stage, as she'll be the best dog I could ever ask for.

Here's my Miley with my Emily.

You will definitely have some good times with the new puppy! I have had a blast with the German Shorthair Pointer I got from Sliverflicker a little while back. He comes shed hunting with me and everything. Congrats on the new addition!

    neat looking dog!

    GET A CRATE/Kennel!!!

Let me say that again, GET A CRATE - a BIG CRATE.

I have used one on three labs now, it will save you and the family a lot of grief! (and furniture, carpets, toys, pillows, clothes...)

I wish I'd known, Brett. I have 2 X-lg crates.....and you could have had one of them.

    Boys.....give 'em 3yrs.....and they'll be out of the puppy/chewing stage!.....lol

Vito, the rescue organization actually named her Cookies and Cream....obviously we are not going to have that name, lol. But we are going to shorten her name down to CC, Cece or something. The kids picked the name out as it is their puppy.
