My daughter got her first deer this weekend!!! Couldn't be happier!!! My days of hunting by myself may be shortened now with her getting a taste of it, but I wouldn't change it for the world, lol. She has been hunting the past 3 years and was finally about to pull the trigger on one. I am so proud of her for being patient and taking her time to make sure she made a good shot. Heck of a little tracker too! She was busting thru the briars in front of us, lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sorry about the phone screw up, something is wrong with my stupid phone. Anyways, Bad news is have not scored buck yet will score this Sunday. Good news is after three weeks in the hospital and two days home relaxing I talk the wife into an afternoon hunt. Had a friend walk with me to stand to make sure I was up settled and good to go. 3:45 First doe walks out at 21 yards, shot..........doe ran 40 yards and piled up. Decided to hang out since buddy was hunting and did not want to bust the woods out getting down. 4:30 Second bigger doe walks within 37 yards, same result................ran 40 yards and down. Not Bad for a guy who spent 3 weeks in hospital, came home, shot a dozen practice arrows and climbed back up in a tree. Doe posted for 50 pts, buck will be scored tomm., off to doctor now for checkup. Goodluck guys, Dave
Nice work team, putting them down! Im on my way back from MO where I scored as well! Rough grossed him at 135, I self filmed the hunt!
After botching a shot on a doe this morning, I was finally able to connect on a nice buck this evening. I'll get him measured and posted tomorrow hopefully.
