    I ended my season on a high note this morning.

    As soon as the sun came up I had 2 does making their way toward me. One was larger than the other but she never gave me a shot, and with the smaller one standing perfectly broadside at 5 yards, I couldn't resist. I sent it through both lungs and she went 40ish yards before crashing. I got down and packed up my stand and sticks and took them back to the truck before I went to get her (truth is, I just wanted to warm up:d)

    After recovery I found out that she was actually a he, but I'm not complaining. They will taste the same. Lesson learned I guess.


    Here's to an excellent '08 season. My Best Yet. :tu:



    I did the best I could with the pics. I was all alone and freezing.
