    guess what we're having with chicken and salad tonight for dinner?!?!?!?!?!? I love mushroom season's arrival and hate the day I realize they are gone for another year. This year they came early.

    Early they did.....

    I scheduled a vacation for the 14-22nd to go back home for my annual turkey/crappie slaying/ mushroom hunting adventure. As warm as it has been, I'm going to miss the mushrooms for sure and possibly the crappie spawn.

    People are crazy about those things. I've heard of men going to their grave without giving up their honey holes, even to their own kids.

    I saw a grown man almost come to tears when I stepped on a few on my way to the river. I'm sure they were still good.
