I don't have any remedies for after the bite, but people around me put permitherin on their clothing to keep them away. You guys have some awesome bucks on your cams. Looks like ill be the only one with out monsters on his cams lol.

I've never used but permithin is supposed to be good. After the bite I just an aerosol anit-itch cooling spray. Can't remember the brand name but got it at CVS where they keep the lotions for poison ivy.

There's a product called "Chiggarid" that's a lot like nail polish, apply it to the bites. It keeps the air off the bites which makes the histamine in your skin itch.

When I have them really bad, I take a hot bath in clorox bath water roughly 50:1 and seems to help. I've heard epsom salt bath works as well.

Like Coveymaster, ATBuckhunter and BukFvr said Josh, Permithin on your clothes before the encounter and Chiggarid for the bites.

I use permethrin, but it's been a while since I applied it. Chigarid sounds like a winner. I've been putting liquid bandaid on to keep them from rubbing on my pants and boots. Nasty little bugs!

Do not think these two are the same buck as last years pic is a bigger looking body. Must have some gene pool out there sending their tall tined bucks out way.

These two might get a pass as it would be nice to get another year on them. Have pics are both of them from last year and the 10 added a lot of width and height. The 9 added a lot of mass this year.

Swampstomper checking in. Been bow hunting off and on since 82, only hunting with a bow for about the last 10 years. Have a 40 that I own and another 60 acres by the house that I have permission to hunt on. Live in Southwest Arkansas so don't have giant deer but there sure are a lot of them down this way. Season opens here on 28 September and goes until the end of Feb. Six deer limit of which only two can be bucks with the 3 point rule in play. Looking forward to being on the team and contributing to the score card. Good luck to all.

Here are a few pictures from my food plot and mineral site. Hopefully this will lead to pork chops and back straps.

Okay so are we going with The Mighty Bucks for team name? I don't want to get a bunch of work into a logo if it's still open...or if someone else wants to do the logo.

I'm all good with Mighty bucks being out team name. At this point we should probably pick a captain as well. I have no problem being the captain but if anyone else would like to be then please say so.

Looks like we're on the way to voting yes on the name so I'll go ahead and start working up a few logo options and everyone else can weigh in as they check back in and also hopefully vote for team captain.

I'm fine with ATbuckhunter as captain, already started the thread so has edit control of the first post and sounds like he is happy with taking the responsibility.
