Found this guy hanging out in my garden! I watched him get a bug and wrap it up right off the bat then he went into the middle to wait for the next meal.
Eve of the opener for me tonight. I'm going to setup on a clover plot in the AM and try to kill a doe, then it's deep into a public swamp for the afternoon sit. Been looking forward to this for 11 months!!

Think I put us on the board with 50 pts, shot looked good, arrow looks decent, blood yards from impact, think she piled up at 50 yards but giving her some time, taking it safe
Getting my doe put me a bit behind schedule for the evening hunt but setup with plenty of time. Here is my doe Now it's buck time, I'm back in a public swamp in a pinch between a clear cut and a marsh, the pinch is 60 yards wide with a mix of oaks, balsom, and black ash. Greeted by this nice rub 20 yards from my stand, gets the blood pumping!! If all goes right there is a buck bedded 120 yards across a creek itching to eat in the crop fields behind me. It's the same bedding area I shot my gun buck out of, I've hunted here 3 times seeing 3 buck and killing the second biggest. Hope the streak continues.
