Lol... Tiger did come back to be number 1 in the world again after his scandal. I can see you don't like him, but let's not let your distaste get in the way of facts here...
Who said I didn't like him? I think he was the greatest golfer/competitor I'll ever see in my lifetime (or that anybody to this day has). What facts are you talking about? The fact that he is 111 in the world ranking? The fact that he hasn't won a major in 8 years? Hasn't won at the Masters in 10 years? Is nothing more than a below average PGA tour golfer now? You don't think the scandal had anything to do with his collapse from the top of the mountain? Coincidence?
So Jordan Spieth breaks the 36 hole all time record. But still only has a 4 shot lead on Hoffman. Then everyone else is at least 9 strokes back. Tiger is in 13th which I am impressed about to be honest. Is this a two man race now or will Spieth crack and fall back?
Until Dustin Johnson just became the first person in Masters history to have 3 eagles in one round. Now he is right in the hunt as well. he had the putter working today
A whole lot of golf left. A lot of things can happen. Jordan still plays with a LOT of emotions. Emotions (both ways) which sometimes get the better of him. It will be interesting to see what happens if a few names make a serious run to the top. He's a self proclaimed board watcher too. That being said.... nobody is catching this kid lol. He is playing close to perfect golf. I don't see a 74 or 75 out of him. I think the biggest mistake he could make is taking the throttle off and start playing conservative. Put the pedal to the floor, bury the field and make sunday be a technicality walk in the park.
One of the best up and downs I've seen on 18 for Spieth. I would've been elated to get within 20 feet. The door is slightly cracked though with his hiccup on 17. Nerves showed the last 2 holes. Should be fun to watch. Kind of sucks there is only 3 people that have a chance though.
I think if Spieth shoots -2 today he has it. Would be fun to see him go real low. He's the future of the sport right now.
Well Spieth starts 2 under on the first 3 holes... Kid is a machine lately. I hope Rory and Him develop a competitive rivalry like Tiger and Phil had there briefly... would be good for golf.
Just found out a couple of weeks ago a guy I played ball with and a frat brother of mine is the Masters tournament director. Wow. Here I am running around the streets with 40 lbs of gear on making morsels and this guy is rubbing elbows with higher ups while wearing khakis and making bank. Im really surprised my dna made it through to 3 kids. Im a moron. hahahaa.
