I hope Tiger comes out and dominates. It won't happen, but I truly hope he does. Golf misses it's most dominating athlete in the history of the sport. Sunday's aren't nearly the same without Red Shirt Tiger on the prowl...
We don't have cable so don't watch stuff at home. Some times it's on the TV when my husband takes us out. I always root for the left-handed guy. He seems really nice.
We'll know soon if Tiger has it or not. He looks solid on the practice tee, but then again so do I. Lol.
I doubt Tiger wears red on Sunday. Spieth is looking strong and so are a few others. I was glad to see Ernie Els, Tom Watson, and a few other older guys play well to open up the tournament. That all being said it is still very early and there is still a lot of golf to be played.
This Jordan Spieth is something else, after last year I am rooting for him. He has a ways to go as a golfer in general but he is lights out at Augusta. I knew Tiger was done after being ousted as a sex crazed cheater with his scandal/accident/clubbing thingy. He thrived off his image and he lost it all.
Spieth is already one of the top players in the world and has arguably been the top player since Mcllroy's streak of big wins last year.
Yep... I said that the second the story went public. This Spieth kid really has it going on. He has all parts of the game on auto pilot right now. He is putting lights out! He could've shot the lowest round in a major championship EVER today if his caddie didn't screw him over on 15. He got talked out of hitting a 4 iron into the green and ended up hitting a hybrid over the green and making bogey. Middle of the fairway 220ish... going to make birdie there more times than not. That should've been 10 under. Still a hell of a round. Still wonder about handling it down the stretch. He is an emotional player and wet behind the ears. Tiger? About what I figured. Somewhere around even or couple over at best. Heading to the airport complaining about some kind of injury at 10 over at worst.
