Yes, it is Master's week. One of my favorite weeks of the year.

So who do you have? Is Tiger back? Can Rory prove he is the true #1? Can Hunter Mahan stay on fire? Who is ready to come out of nowhere to contend?

I'm hoping Jack Sparrow wins. I like his style.

My favorite too. I watch every minute of it. Par 3 game today on ESPN. It's always good for a couple chuckles before it all gets serious.

On a real note, I hope Tiger wins by 10 strokes this weekend and takes a picture with the trophy holding up the middle finger to everyone who thought he was a washed up has been.

Don't count Phil out, He could pull one out if his head is in it this year. We will see if Tiger is really back by how he does this weekend

Rickie Fowler...he looks like Jack Sparrow. I like his colorful style. Very European.

Okay I'll admit it, I had to Google Jack Sparrow. Pirates of the Caribbean?

Rickie is going to be a front runner some day IMO.

I gotta tell ya Vito, I just saw this and DID get it immediately and laughed! I had never thought of it before, but the resemblence is uncanny.

I think he could win the Master's if they would let him play with a Parrot on his shoulder. The distraction to the other players would have to be worth at least 5 strokes. Especially if he could train it to shout noonan in the middle of their putts.

The Masters is my favorite gold tournament to watch. I think Tiger shows he's back this week.

Now that would make golf more watchable.

There is nothing like the masters, my favorite thing about the masters is when N.O.W tried to boycott them by attacking their sponors. The Masters club went fine, we don't need and sponors and put the Masters on their own dime.

Since then N.O.W pretty much leaves them alone.

I look over a farm here for a guy from Georgia that has passes to the Masters and he has offered them to me anytime I want. I hope to take him up on it next year. It would be a dream come true for me. I can go for any two days excluding Sunday. I am thinking at least one practice day would be smart? What two days would you go knowing you could not be there for the final day?

I may be able to buy a pass for Sunday while I am down there. The pass holders are not supposed to sell them, but they are readily available.

I was thinking the practice days would be a lot more relaxed and the players are more likely to throw down extra balls and approach the crowd etc. I really just want to go walk the course and see it first hand. Just looks amazing.

Did he watch the par 3 tournament? If so, would he also recommend that?

He went on Monday and walked the entire course twice, and the par three once. His one comment about the condition of the course was while standing by one of the pines. A pine comb fell, as he looked around he notice it was the only one. They pick up the pine combs every night.

He said TV does not give those greens any justice for how they are in real life. They are just nasty.

The single best sporting event that exists! Well..... to me anyway . There really is nothing that compares to it. It sucks that the course is going to play slow and receptive. I prefer watching them get tortured when it's firm and fast. It just takes a little away from it when it gives up as many birdies as we will see. The pack will be bunched together with not as many big boo boos lurking.

Tough to pick against Tiger this week. His highest finish in the last 5 years has been T6. And... well everyone knows the rest of his history at the place. And the captain obvious other favorite would be Mcilroy. I'm a little worried about Mickelsons putting right now. He missed a LOT of makeable putts last week at the Shell Houston. He's hitting it good, but you need to putt at Agusta. Dark horses? Really tough to say. So many people playing good right now that can win it. One of them catch a hot putter and they are right there. There will be a lot of people hovering around, but at the end of the day Sunday (especially when it dries out a little) it will more than likely be one of the veterans. Time will tell, I'll be watching every minute.

I'd say if you can't go on a Sunday I'd pick a practice round when they are more relaxed and Saturday (moving day). A lot of birdies and "others" being made on Saturday as people try to position themselves for contention on Sunday.

Sounds like the weather might make this a difficult tournament to get in on a regular schedule. Makes for a little tough viewing with the delays and carry over of rounds to next day. Should be a normal Sunday by the sounds of it though.

TV doesnt come close to doing the place justice. It is absolutely amazing to see. The place is ridiculous!
