    My favorite memory is when he invented the string dampemer with a crude sketch in "Paint", long before it was actually invented.

    Great post Caleb.

    I miss the good ole days before Fran's celebrity. He would use his wit to get the ne'erdowells over on HNI all riled up and then disappear while they fought it out amongst themselves in the old western bar-brawl style as he chuckled in the corner.

    Now his fame has throngs of fans falling on his every word so much so that nobody dare contest his views. I look forward to the next upstart to challenge his reign so that I can laugh at the crumpled heap left behind as another victim falls to who we have come to know as "The King."
