    My daughter will be the last born with my last name so guess that most likely means that I will be the last one with it assuming she gets married someday.

    I have 2 sons and my cousins have several sons also...so not the end there. However, this did get me thinking about my moms side of the family with my uncle being the last of them with no kids, nor will ever have any. Kinda sad when you think about it.

    There are 4 possible guys that could carry on my last name, my brother & I, and our 2 cousins. I don't see kids in my future. My brother would like to have kids, but needs to find a good woman first. I don't see that happening soon either. My one cousin has daughters, the other is pretty young yet, so he's likely the best chance.

    It came down to my Grandpa at one point, he did his part with 9 kids (5 boys, 4 girls)...1 uncle has no kids, 2 have all girls, 1 has 3 boys - none of which are married or have kids, then my Dad has 2 boys. My brother gets married next year and wants kids so he could help out...but I have been doing my part with 3 boys and 1 girl.

    ...and I laugh because my 4 yr old daughter is as strong willed as they come with her three relentless brothers...I can see her making some guy take her last name someday:)

    I'm am the last of the line.
    I have 3 brothers but they are half brothers with a different last name. My dad and are are the last ones to carry our family name.
    I know Crick the world finally rid of us lol. But when I'm gone so is the jerky:D

    I have myself and one cousin carrying the Embry name from my Grandparents down. My moms side is healthily ready to keep going with 4 male cousins and a son coming from one of them already. I carry both names as a middle and last name (mothers maiden name obviously being the middle name)

    My last name Is safe but It's not because of me. I have one child (that I know of) ;). I have a daughter but my brother has 2 boys so were good to go for a while.

    I have my son and my other cousin has his son. So we're good:). I can tell you it brought great joy to my grandfather to know our name would make it at least one more generation.

    I have one more cousin, but I doubt he will have kids. Who knows how many unknown are out there, my one uncle was a man ***** and never got married;)

    My dad had 12 siblings, 10 of which were boys. Plenty of Wrights running around. :)
