Who has watched all 10 episodes? I loved them all, but the last 4 were awesome, and I have to find this lady https://twitter.com/i/status/1262198707287724038
I took my young son and sat him on my lap, I said son you have to see this so you can say you watched Michael Jordan play basketball.
Quite possibly the best documentary I have ever seen, I could watch another 25 episodes of it. Wish they would have used Pippens quote about the mailman don't deliver on Sunday's though.
Just finishing it up now and yeah it's pretty amazing. I was in basic training during the 98 championship and kept hassling my training instructors for updates on the games. The only question that I ever asked them was how are my Bulls doing? I was a huge fan of the NBA back then. I no longer give a single damn about that league today, so it is kind of cool to see this and time travel a little. Interesting on how the break up was framed by the management and MJ's take on how all the team members would have signed one year deal for the 99 season. Could've been 7 championships. Nuts...
It's just so watchable over and over. Rewatched(ing) the final 4 episodes tonight. The confidence and motivation Jordan brought upon himself by far makes him the GOAT, no comparison no matter how you make it. Covered most aspects of it, found it strange Luc Longley was not interviewed. They're saying Bryant also allowed a film crew for his final season. Imagine another docuseries will be made that will have Jordan commentary in it postmortem, but I think Bryants comments for this one summed it up best. Bryant wouldn't be where he was without Jordan, and I think a lot of players can state the same. It's a read into it how you will. They'll hype it, but there will not be as much post carreer commentary as we got from Jordan for obvious reasons. Lebron, not even going to consider him with the way he "dictated" his "legacy". Taking my game to south beach, giving his former team draft picks in his absence only to bail on them once again. Lebron is a *****, plain and simple.
I thought it was pretty good. I found it pretty interesting. I remember the runs the bulls had, but not alot of the details off the court. I don't watch basketball at all now but did when all this was happening. Hell my dad, who wasn't into to sports much at all, would watch the games whenever they were on. Ended up watching the entire searies again Sunday since its was raining and had nothing else to do. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Yet he is still a *****. He's the modern day Patrick Ewing, but Patrick Ewing stuck it out with his team without a title. I remember Patrick Ewing on I believe Letterman crying about it should be his time, basically saying Jordan ruined it for him. Lebron bailed and let Cleveland get draft picks in order for him to come back, after playing with Wade and the other big name that escapes me along with a few others. Then he bails yet again thinking he is bigger than the game to LA and is put in his place.
