    Is the plug pulled?

Is the 20 year run over?

I mean it was supposed to be over in college, when he flipped his car and lost most of his small intestine...

But nope, six weeks later he beats BAMA :fro:

Then it was supposed to be over in Atlanta cuz Glanville hated him...but he was traded to the Packers....

It was supposed to be over in Green Bay cuz the Majic man was the franchise QB in his prime...but he went down in week 3 and Favre led a game winning 4th quarter comeback...:tu:

It was supposed to be over when the pressure of "Being the man" in Green Bay led to his addiction to Pills and Alcohol....

But he went on to win 3 straight MVP's and lead the Packers to two Super Bowl births...

Then he was supposed to be done when Holmgren left, his wife got cancer, his dad died and his brother in law was killed, but he went on to lead the Packers to multiple division titles and an NFC championship birth in 2007....

Then he was pressured into retirement.

Then he came back and led the Jets to an 8-4 record before tearing his bicep...

    Then he retired.

Then he came back, had the best year of his career at the age of 40, and led the Vikings to the NFC championship game, the 5th time he had done that....

This year was supposed to be "the year". The script was ready...

Ankle surgery. Tendonitus. Rice gone. Jen Sturger. 2 broken bones in ankle. Harvin too far out of the back of the endzone and too high of a throw to Moss....2-4 record and 3rd place in the division...

    Is that the final chapter?

Did he play his last game on Sunday? Some are saying he did. I'm not sure. A busted up Favre damn near beat the Pack. This guy has got lots of will. Whether last Sunday Is It or not he gave the Vikings there best chance at winning and did a pretty damn good job at that for the most part.

Who knows (Besides him) if he can play or not, I guess...That's all anyone talks about around here lol. Dude has a broken ankle, doesn't get along with the coach, and the fans in MN are throwing him under the bus. Along with all the off field stuff going on right now...I'd say it's about the end of the end for him. But we all know Favre won't wanna leave on this note. Who knows, time will tell.

With that said...Could the Vikings PLEASE just DRAFT a QB and develop him in the system and STICK with him.

I still think this ship can be salvaged. Theres too much talent on offense, and Favre still looks like he has it when hes not getting plowed into the turf by linebackers.

I dont think its time to raise the white flag yet.

An offensive line would be nice too. Most overrated offensive line In the league If you ask me.

How many people would have different opinions on him based on PURELY his time spend between the lines?

The only knock would be the interceptions, and the fact that hes only won ONE Super Bowl (Oh the humanity).

One thing is for sure, Brad Childress should realize he is still a coach because farve came back last year, and when he runs him off this year he might as well go to. He is a waste, think back to his hiring...Ziggy and 3 other people agreed, and millions stood there like this

I should add I do not know the situation as well as you guys up there and could care less with the outcome, but Childress seams like a big fan who got a coaching gig the way he humps everyones leg.

Key to the Vikings turnaround? Take a playbook out of Landstown High's playbook: Snap the ball to Percy Harvin and tell him to score. Take a play out of Florida's playbook: Snap the ball to QB toss or hand the ball to Percy Harvin and tell him to score.:tu:

He is a BEAST no doubt. I honestly believe he is he is the reason Bama did not beat Florida 2 years in a row...and him going to the NFL was the reason Florida did not beat Bama 2 years in a row.

Without a doubt. He is a great, great player. I think most Florida fans didn't realize what we had when Percy was a Gator, until now that he's gone.

Good bless him but I think ole "pecker texter" is going to call it quits this year, if not sooner. He's not playing anywhere near as good as he had hoped and this scandal is wearing on him too. He should have went out on a good note last year.

I was reading Peter King on SI yesterday, he interviewed an NFL team orthopedist and he said this ankle fracture is being blown way out of proportion. It's not nearly as bad as its being made out to be and that if this were a playoff game, most NFL QB's would play with the injury.

IMO, Brett being as competitive as he is, will medicate and definitely play on Sunday.

    Well....

400 something yards later and a game tying, then game winning drive and all doesnt look lost in Vikings country. What a damn game!

If I was him, I'd retire (again). He'll have more time for cryin'. And, he can polish his diva crown while he sends dong texts.

    No-brainer, really.

I didn't hardly see the game. Just caught the last 2 minutes and then OT. The offensive line finally gave him some time the last half of the 4th QT. See what he can do when time Is there. Percy Is something!!

I could only listen to it at deer camp but those of you in Minnesota will know what I'm talking about. Paul Allen has got to be the best play by play in the entire league. Hands down.

I saw Brett Favre's dong. It's nothing to write home about.

With that said, if he doesn't retire after this season the man is clinically insane.
