"The greatest basketball that has ever played the game" had ZERO baskets in the 4th quarter of game 2 of the nba finals. He would have had zero points in the final quarter if not for a phantom foul called on a Dallas player when Lebron just plain missed a layup. He and Wade pretty much started to celebrate a victory with over 7 minutes left in the game when their lead reached 15 points...the entire team then played very relaxed thinking they had the game in the bag...then proceeded to get their butts kicked for the rest of the way and lost the game.

I really don't think players like Jordan, Magic, etc would have allowed a collapse like this to happen to their team....especially in a championship series.

Dirk meanwhile dominated the final minutes of the game to lead his team to victory.

This GOAT isn't even the best player on his team right now, and third best on the court. lol

These are the defining moments of all time greats, and LBJ is filling Pippens role more so than Jordans.

Wade and Dirk are having field days, both are unbelievable to watch.

wahoohunter makes a good point about footwork. In most all sports, the single most overlooked part of training is the footwork. We get stronger, run fast and jump higher. But, sometimes what is the difference between good and greatness....Footwork!! and that is all I got to say about that.:lol:

Speaking of which, my first thought was about last year's playoffs. I think it shows he didn't "quit". I think he just becomes passive at times. Unsure of when to turn it on.

LBJ issue is simple, he has never felt pressure in his life and he cannot handle it. Not going to college and learning how to play with pressure from others has hurt him. Look who was on Jordon's team at NC. Jordan learned how to play and deal with pressure from these guys. By the end of his freshmen year he learned how to win and play within his role on the team.

lBJ does not know how to play within his role on a team, because he has always been the man.

He may be a great basketball player..... but somewhere along the way he may learn that it's a team sport. Besides that he's dumber than dirt and is a high school drop out. Not a brilliant man.... just has a lot of physical abilities and is still learning how to put them to their best use. He'll make it someday I think... and possibly this year.... but he's still just a dumb jock with tats and lots of money. LOL We all should be so lucky and dumb. LOL The greatest????? Not yet.... but he definitely has the chance.

NOBODY, has ever or is better than Jordan, period. Even if Lebron has the talent, the determination and leadership skills are not anywhere near that of Jordan's. Carry-on

I love the line in the new movie "Bad Teacher". Call me when LB gets 6 championship.
    Is that your only argument.
It's the only one I need.

My wife and I were watching the game a bit ago, and she said she heard someone ask Lebron if he had change for a dollar.

He responded, "No, I've only got three quarters."

The look on Lebron's face during the 4th quarter was absolutely pathetic. It was obvious he was caving and did not want the ball. That was a pathetic showing for someone so talented. Just pathetic.

He was at most the 4th best player during this series. Dirk, Wade, and Jason Terry all played much better than LeBron.

It was telling when he drove to the hoop late in the 4th, but with the game still within reach, and made it to five feet from the rim and PASSED -- to someone behind the rim for all intents and purposes.

Long way to go before he's annointed best ever... LONG way.

To me, Dallas looked like they had superior physical conditioning. They subbed better and looked to have more lively legs.

    Get REAL.

LeBron might not even be the best player in the league, or THAT series.

To be fair though...hes under more pressure right now then any other player in the league has ever been. Dirk just won his first title and it took him how long? How old is Lebron? These are all variables to the situation.

At the end of the day though, it comes down to this. Micheal Jordan would never allow his team to lose a Championship. He finished his career 6-0 in the NBA Finals. Lebron is sitting at 0-2. Reguardless of what he does, he will never win 6 Championships. Kobe won 5, Shaq won 4, Tim Duncan won 4. Lebron will probably finish with 2-3. Considering he is 26 years old right now, i dont see it pysically possible for him to win more then that. Not with players like Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard and Blake Griffin all entering there "prime" years an veterans like Dirk, Kobe, Garnett, Duncan all putting up solid competition.
