Wave when you go by Bloomington. Gas is 2.30 a gallon here.

    Good luck boys!

I should have cell service down there. Either way, we'll stay in touch and if you're around Mike and I may stop in and say hi on our way through. If not, we'll try to catch up with you maybe at the IL Deer Classic in Feb.

And Christine, I'll throw your safety rope out the window by one of the exits near Bloomington. You can come pick it up at your leisure. :D

Talked to Dan last night - they sat all day and saw 8-10 different bucks and almost sealed the deal on a nice 140" 3 year old, but just couldn't quite pull it off. Dan was actually happy that he couldn't, because we all know there are bigger bucks around the area. Said he was headed back to the same stand for another all-day sit. Hopefully he puts something on the ground today!

Just got a text from Dan - he had a big 10 at 15 yards for over 5 minutes this morning and couldn't get a shot - it was still too dark.

No kidding - said he had a Booner chase a doe by and couldn't get a shot at him.

I'm seriously dying over here. I want to leave NOW.

Yeah, too bad the temps are in the 70's and it's sunny outside! A perfect day if you want to go spend some time in the park with your kids, not if you want to kill deer. :mad1:

Yesterday was hot but we saw pretty good movement. Filmed a mid 130s brred a doe in the creek around 1 on our way to hang stands. Then saw a few 2 1/2s dogging does pretty hard right before dark.

Slow morning so far just a bunch of turkeys and no deer.

Gonna give it 2 more hrs then hang a new set and hunt till dark.

    Day 3 update:

Yesterday after my post we had a nice e 1/2 come by that Mike passed. So we pulled our set and moved to the far corner of the property in the bottom of some timbered fingers. Only saw a super spike and a doe.

Dan passed a real nice 8 with a bunch of kickers last night. If I see him he won't be so lucky.

This AM we r in the bottoms for an all day sit. Drew on about a 130 8 pt but he turned towards me and I had no decent shot. I think he busted us trying to get around the tree for another shot and spooked off.

Gonna settle back in for a long day of mid 70's temps!!

    Just shot over a studly 4 or 5 year old 8 about 135-140. :(

    Footage looks great though!

Then got picked off by another shooter 10 min later!

    We suck!
