While we are waiting for the last couple guys to check in try to think up a couple names for the team. 1. Your Moms Favorite Team 2. Go Fletch Yourself 3. I hope you miss 4. Fergie Buck Fan Club 5. I just hope we shoot a deer 6. Tag Soup for You!
As for team names I have to do some brainstorming, but off the top of my head I'll throw some out. 7.) Pick up truck processions 8.) Spear a deer 9.) The Commandeers Just looking back at these names, hah. Someone else better pick I guess that's what you get when you wake up from night shift.
Hey guys! I just wanted to give you a heads up that Lastoneout is planning to hunt this fall but he might not be able to check in until the 1st part of October. They just got back from overseas and he have Mountain training for the next month. I told him that was OK and that I'd check in with his team for him. Let me know if you have any questions or a problem with letting him slide in. Good luck this Fall!
I am good with any name and everyone needs to start thinking of a Captain, in teams past we always went with the person who started the thread, but again I am good with anything the team decides..
***Official Team 27 Thread*** What's up guys I don't know how much hunting I will get in this year, but I will be good for a doe at the very least! Let's do this ! I will be hunting in NC / MD a little bit. I've never hunted NC and haven't had time to scout any of the public land that I will be hunting on . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This year we planted two fall food plots. The large field is a Little over 2.25 total acres on a ridge top in the middle of the timber. We planted a mix of several different things in sections. soybeans, forage oats, winter peas, and brassicas. It also has a clover plot on one end. The long narrow plot is about 15 yards wide and 100 yrds long. It has a mix of forage oats & brassicas. Sent from my QMV7A using Tapatalk
I hope so. We call the narrow long plot the cabbage patch. That plot always grows so well and it is our doe killing spot and the bucks are always cruising the side of that ridge checking that plot for does. I will post a few trail cam pics later tonight. Our property in SE Indiana is 207 acres but unfortunately I live about 4 hours away. So I probably won't get back down there until the beginning of September to check cameras again and finish up cutting our shooting lanes and changing straps on all the tree stands.
Got all my fall plots in and existing plots fertilized before the rain hit so that's all done, working on duck blinds now and still need to hang a few stands. Heading to Maine in a week to bowhunt a bear and trap one. Pics are from bears from Alberta last week.
I guess I can be captain if nobody else wants to. I have sent a PM to Flyguy415 and Doublelung84 letting them know they are are on team 27 and to check in to let us know if they are going to participate. As far as team name goes I don't really care what it is. As far as I am concerned we can just be team 27. My main focus is putting points on the board.
