Guess what I saw again tonight?!!! The albino... I didn't get a good luck but I suspect it is a small buck. It was trailing a big buck. I was probably within 70 yards. Its just so thick down in there I only get a peek every now and then.

Had a good sit... I saw 4 deer and my buddy that was sitting on the other side of the ridge saw 9. We are going back in early in the morning.

Well that was total crap. Coldest day of the year so far and I didn't see a single deer all morning. My friend on the other side of the ridge had a single doe and a coyote come in. Bah......

Went out again this morning and was skunked again. I checked two cams on the way out. 1800 pics between two of them in a week. I don't get it! At the same time there wasn't a single shooter on either cam. Not even one I'd shoot out of desperation! LOL!

Hi All, This will be my final check unless something extraordinary happens. I am down to the wire. Our season ends the 31st but I only have two more days to hunt. I am going to hit it hard tomorrow and the next.

We finally have some winter like weather here. It iced and snowed today and the wind has being howling the last two days. Temps are dipping into the low teens with the highs in the mid-20s. Suppose to be sunny with light winds so I'd say now is as good as time as ever to see a bunch of movement. Wish me luck! I am going to need it!!!

Congrats to you! That's a VERY long tracking job, can't wait to see the pics. It'll sure help with the team points. I still need to get my numbers from my taxi.

Ended up hitting him just below the heart a little low thought he was at 45 but went and ranged it today and it was 50 . Must have hit an artery because we were following solid blood the whole 2 miles

I didn't hear back from (left message) my taxi yet, so I think I'll have to just take the 50 points for the team, because of the deadline date. I'll see if Brett/virginiashadow can post a second pic of me with the buck to enter him.

Thanks Brett, I guess 50 points is better than nothing. Don't know why I haven't heard from my taxi?

Well I must say that I haven't been much help at all this year. As for my two big shooters, one got poached I believe and the other one has already shed. I have a couple crippled up does that I might try to take out this weekend but that will probably be all I can contribute.

I did find one of the bucks sheds though, and got a picture of the skull plate of the other.

Just to clarify, the guy in the pic didn't poach the deer. The neighbor found it dead and this guy bought it off of him.

Gross score 187 and net 178

Excuse me, is anyone home? lmao I'm here to announce my contribution to the team cause. I had to enter my buck as "unscored", so I guess we can only get 50pts. But, it beats a blank! I entered the specifics, and 2 different pics, so we should be good. Sorry for being last minute, but I just now figured a way to post pics. Better late than never!!
