So what is the good word this week boys. I am taking it a little easy this week to prepare for the big push in late October.

I apologize for being a huge loser lately guys. Don't wanna be that guy but life has been crazy lately and I haven't had time to even get on here let alone get my buck up on the board. I coach in the fall on top of work and also had a good buddy get in abad accident drinking and 4-wheeling and therefore have been really tied up. Secondly, I haven't had eyes on my deer for more then 30 minutes post harvest. To boot I was home last weekend and my taxidermist is still out west and therefore I couldn't get my horns back to measure. He is back today or tomorrow so I should be able to hopefully get him measured and on the board! Hopefully I'll chat again sooner this time! Won't hunt this weekend then its every weekend plus few more days here and there through end of November.

I went out last weekend for three evening sits and only saw one deer. The wind has been all wrong for most of my stands so I haven't been in my prime stands. This Friday, if the wind stays the same I will be trying to close in on my target buck. We are getting a big coldfront coming in starting Friday night and continuing the weekend. I will only be able to hunt Friday so I have to get it done. I will keep yall posted.
I will likely climb up the tree with my bother to film this weekend then be back in the tree with the bow for the following few weekends. Last night 2 good bucks were shot by friends back home and another taken during youth hunt. The cold weather has really got things stirred up!
For a minute there I thought you were referring to the puppy dog he shot for 50 pts. The buck looks like 100's but I didn't tape it so to each his own.
Been on stand x3, first time guys were out in front of me hunting pheasants with there dogs. Second time some bozo _ walks up to my stand yelling I'm on his property when I'm 25 yds inside the yellow paint. The joys of public land sometimes
I've shot alot of 8 pointers bigger then that and barely broke 120". what ever.... It looks like my hunting plans for the back half of this week of changed. Looks like I will be headed to the KC / Toronto game!
Well let's just all shoot big bucks and his score won't matter, I have yet to make it to Ohio, every time I plan to go something has come up or I got called into work for the weekend, haven't had much time to do any hunting. Looks like this weekend I'm free sat AM in PA and I can hunt all Sunday in Ohio. Hope the plans stick!

Went out this evening to a new spot to check things out. I watched a couple 6 pointers spar for a good 30 minutes. They were getting after each other pretty good. My evening ended with my Royals winning game two! I couldn't ask for much more then that! Going to hang some stands tomorrow and get ready for the rut.
I am getting transferred Tuesday for work for a few months and will be without internet for awhile so I will be MIA but if I kill a deer on days I come home I will get it posted for sure. Good Luck Guys....

I did an evening hunt yesterday, but saw only 2 doe out about 60 yrds feeding. One was a big girl that I would have shot. I have just 5 days of work left before my RUT JUNKY WEEK off!!!
