Hey guys sorry I have been in and out over the last week. All I can say is moving really does suck!!!! Anyways I have sent an IM to Dunn to see whats going on with his buck. It looks like he hasn't logged on since 9/19 so not sure whats going on. I hope everything is ok with him. I will be in the stand for the first time Friday. I have a nice cold front moving in for the weekend so I am pretty excited to see how things go.
Congrats on the does guys! I've only sat 3 evenings so far, but I've yet to see a single deer! I haven't hunted the spot where my 8pt hangs out because of the wrong wind. I have the entire last week of Oct off though. I live for the rut!!! (does back flips)
Well I leave tonight for three days of hunting. Its supposed to be 80 today and then drop down to 72 tomorrow with a chance of rain then mostly sunny with a high of 68 on sat. I am pretty excited. I wasn't going to hunt many mornings in the early season but with this weather I think it would be a poor choice not to go out for the morning hunts.
Very nice! Keep us posted, I would def hunt the am with the colder weather. I have been seeing a lot of morning activity over the past week and with the upcoming weather you should see even more action. Best of luck, I too will be hunting pretty hard the next few days in Ohio!
I have hunted the last 7 mornings and haven't seen a deer in the mornings yet, but we are on a declining moon so it should get better. Pulled cards yesterday and had 1,000 pics and only 3 deer in the daylight and all the rest at night. But it will only get better.. Good Luck to everyone hunting..
Going to head out early Friday afternoon for an evening sit. Weather is suppose to be great My plan is to leave my stand and hunt it again Saturday morn.

I was covered in deer this morning. 7 bucks and I quit counting does after 12. Bucks are still running in bachelor groups.
