Haha I totally get some folks love it. Just has never been something I could get into. I didn’t even buy a turkey tag this Spring. I would rather plant a food plot or shed hunt. Ive just got the whitetail bug too bad to care about turkeys. One of my best friends is the opposite though. Absolutely ate up with turkeys. He travels all over the country hunting turkeys every spring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This show keeps getting better and better the more I watch it. It's actually given me motivation to start planning my first public land hunt. I don't think I've ever watched any show this much (or as us millennials call it, "binged" a show like this).
The way most shows portray turkey hunting, you are right. I have never hunted Turkeys because it just looks boring and is a lot of work for very little meat compared to a deer. However, I found the Hunting Public's approach to be entertaining and educational. I may try taking up Turkey hunting next spring using their approach. Sitting in a ground blind on a food plot to shoot a Turkey still looks boring and is not an entertaining show.
I picked up a bunch of good tid bits of info on the video/podcast with Dan Infalt. Really enjoyed that one
It’s a lot more fun than you would think, when they play the game of “made you look” behind. Tree, then take off, they see everything. Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
It's almost like watching a baseball game. I'll watch a little bit, then flip to something more interesting.
