Don't think so because he would have to sit a year. Some 2nd tier college where can play this year and enter the draft next year.
But yeah...today kinda sucked. Never really liked the guy off the field, but I loved how he played on the field. So stupid. I know it's just weed, but rules are rules. Miles really did not have a choice in this one.
It is LSU's policy that if you fail 3 drug tests, you're off the team. I, like many, don't think weed is a big deal, but that is not the point. LSU has it's policy, and all the players know about it. LSU has had that policy for many years. Tyrann knew the policy, he knew he would be drug tested at the start of camp, but yet he either thought that he was invincible, or just didn't care. Either way, it was a selfish move on his part. I commend Les for sticking with the policy. Many coaches (*cough*Meyer*cough*) would probably just ignore the failed results. If you ignore the results, the other players will eventually take notice, and that is how you lose a locker room.
It was his 3rd. 1st = internal discipline 2nd = 1 game suspension (he was suspended for the Auburn game last year due to a failed test) 3rd = off the team
It amazes me that he did this. He knew the rules, but couldn't get his priorities right. Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
The sad part is these kids don't want for any thing, once some one discovers their God given talent the doors begin to open, girls, cars and fine hotels, there seems to be no end in sight. When they get in petty trouble it is covered up or pushed aside. Never any real consequences. And in this case is there any? The only thing he will not be doing is playing for LSU.
He just lost millions of dollars when the time comes for him to be drafted. He lost millions in endorsements deals. His "honey badger" persona was huge. He lost any chance at anymore collegiate awards. And do you really think he will be living some high life style playing for some FCS school? The kid will face plenty of consequences.
I'm sure the Bengals or maybe Dallas will be in touch with him, then again maybe Ricky Williams can mentor him for a year or so. His door is now open, I'm sure he will go far.
A guy breaks the Law and you think the coach hung tough. Hell, the kid could be in jail if the wrong people caught him LOL He's a chump, self serving jock thinking he's above it all. So much potential and so much going for him and he pisses it away. You just can't fix stupid.
You think the majority of coaches would kick their superstar player off the team because of weed? I don't.
