    There is no doubt that media/entertainment have done more harm them good.

    Everything that you see now on the news, used to happen just as much or more. You just didnt hear about it.

    This, news and everything is so readily available these days you hear about everything. What used to take a couple of days or weeks to get out takes seconds, so you'll hear about more nationally when most stories used to be only local or regional.
