This is my bird walking buddy, he scares off all the birds and other critters, but I love to walk with him.

 

I’m laid up for a few weeks after hip surgery. Bailey must be feeling bad for me. She hasn’t left my side since I got home.

 

Yeah those eyes tell the story.

They are like that. I had emergency surgery, August 2020. Hospital for nine days. My wife said my puppy, Jasper, went all over the house for those days, looking for me. When I came home, he spent a lot of time in the recliner with me. After that, he wouldn't let me out of his sight.

somehow are best buddies know more than we think, had back surgery awhile back, my dog sat in her chair next to me for a week

 

Watching the hockey game and of course the rangers are losing. The dog is sitting on the ottoman there are plenty of other comfy spots for him.

 

He wants you to go shoot some Starlings.
Easily taken 10 shots, only hit 5 so far. Deer and Turkeys keep coming in and the Starlings know I wont shoot when they are in.

 

I’ve been trying all morning and afternoon. They have only come in a few times. Not much wind today so every time I put the window up they scatter. Now the dog also likes to jump up on the picture window to watch so he spooks them also. 1 English sparrow is all today the starlings never show up after 230.

Funny you were having trouble with window, spent 30 minutes this morning fixing my sliding glass door, same problem.
Bucks in now, deer are here till food is gone.

So as I said hubby is having a very bad time over the dogs passing. I get a call from daughter at 1pm. Dad's on his way down. They got two females 12 weeks old in they look like A. J.

I now have 2 pups coming home to foster to see if we can handle 2.
If I do not see him break down anymore....I can handle it.
Right as I have sons 2 dogs coming for a week and the grandsons coming this Satuday, Wednesday and next Saturday as well. Fun times

Oh my, they are pad trained but not house train. This will be a long couple of weeks. Ali and Lucky., I named Ali and hubby named lucky. Totally different personalities. Ali is a spit fire while lucky is curious and calm. Son brought his boxer and lab mix, the pups were great until the spazzy , un neutered boxer had serious nose issues with the too young to be spayed pups. Ali swung on him with a low growl and sharp barking. Lol. She popped at him with her front legs backing him up. Little spit fire and very smart.
Post picks tomorrow, I'm exhausted already
