Poor A.J., he saved me again but took some hard hits. Out blk berry picking and he was ahead of me going into bushes. Well one had a hornets nest. He tried out running them but they got his back side and belly good. He is smart made a beline to the buried frog pond tub. He was all frumpy and depressed for an hours after..
I would have tried picking that bush had he not got to it first.

We have pumpkins....my sunflowers have nearly caught yours bnb. Mine are for the birds though.. I also ate the first five tomatoes yesterday. Good thing I have over 50 plants because cool and rains blight is wide spread.so much for blight resistant. Been working hard to slow it to no avail. Best to get the potatoes done now before there is an issue. Smalls better than none. 2 blanket night last night and pretty cool breeze now with rains coming.

Meh, looks like a 9-10 year old lap pup. I gave my dog my man card, was his to use for or against me.

Drove by a Dairy Queen today. Was in a hurry so didn't stop for a Large Snickers Blizzard which I do really like.

Memory hit me. Roscoe loved ice cream. And yes, I had no problem giving him 1 spoonfull after I had 3.

    Usually driving down the road.
Some say that's " gross", don't care. It's a special bond few can understand.

Here’s my current beast and a few past ones

Since losing Molson, we have become the doggy sitters, This is Maggie, 11yrs old, great family dog, tried upland hunting her, too old. She loves it here, never bothers the deer. Maggie .jpg Maggie and deer.jpg

A.J. and I planted trees today. Went down hill and as I dug he had free range. Well across the street nieghbor had a dog tied out and it was barking. A strange bark. Next thing, I feel pressure on my leg and there is AJ sitting making sure he had contact with me. He was on high alert watching our pines that line the road. Ever time I moved he moved with me.I said good boy and he looked up at me with a I got you mom look. He loves zooming and hunting when we're out. It's a big thing that he felt a possible threat was heard and came to watch over me on his own.Good Boy!.

I was working out in the garage yesterday. I was doing the old man grunting and groaning on a set when Luna comes bursting through the door. She must have thought I was hurt bc she opened the door from the outside! Haha
