Our pug is 11 years old. Two weeks ago we got a 12 week old Australian cattle dog. She is very smart and a quick learner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
was at FIL's yesterday for Father's Day, brought our 2 dogs and they were playing nice with their dog all afternoon, then their 30# doodle decides to start chasing our 50# doodle and our 40# mutt mix decides to turn Terry Tate and comes over the middle and absolutely SMOKES the IL's dog...all you heard was a sound something like a sledgehammer hitting a watermelon and an 'UUUUFFFFFHHHHH' from the victim. Knocked him about 5' sideways and into next week. We were still laughing about it this morning.
My cattle dog turned blue tick mix. Maybe it’s a cross between both but that’s the chance you take buying a dog if Craigslist. Oh well we’ve had him over a year now he’s a character. If he could ever sit still enough for a pic it would be nice.
I dig the looks of that dog AshD. Don't see any purebred him. Don't really matter.a good dog is a good dog.
Daughter brought her new pup to the house yesterday she is a rescue that turned out not to be part pit but a if I were to guess part jack Russell. Just a peanut to A.J.. those two wore each other out !!! LOL she half A. J. Size wiped him out several times in her "attacks". She rolled him more than once and is so smart because she knows her best attack is from underneath him so she gets under him to naw on his legs. He is such a great dog with elderly and small dogs. Even though he can kill a wood chuck in one head shake he will barely tug when another dog wants to play tug with him. He just walks them around. They were both snoring 5 mins after she left. I'll have her for two weeks pretty soon. Life will be interesting.
May be God's way of telling me? As most here know, my dog Roscoe was put down a bit over a year ago. His final breath was in a foodplot right in front of my cabin. It's all planted in pumpkins now. Was just out looking at them and one particular plant stood out. It's in the EXACT spot he died. That 1 plant is growing abit ahead of the others. For some reason, that brings me a strange peace. Love ya buddy.
Gosh it's been that long already, life moves forward faster from our past as we age, that's for sure. His spirit will ensure you a great season this year.
A. J.....Holy cow he found his doggy sweettooth heaven today. He looked like one of those robot vacs sucking up as many fallen mulberries as possible. Did I mention they are a 1/2 " thick under the trees? His tongue is blue..lol
We got a new puppy a month ago. We brought her on her first camping trip this week. She is an Australian cattle dog. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I may have to start the naughty dog thread Peas coming on so I have to pick both morning and evening. I just finish picking the older section and newer section of peas. I leave the garden and turn to close gate to see A.J. "picking" peas through the fence outside the garden. Then after yelling at him I look up from picking blue berries to see a shrub shaking. A. J. Is under the bird mesh picking ripe berries...A.J.!!!!!!!!!! LOL
We were picking huckleberries on our property over the 4th of July, we probably picked a half gallon of them. I think our new lab Leia ate around the same amount right of the bushes as we were picking. We all know how food driven labs usually are, but she takes it to a whole new level. That dog will eat anything if she sees us eat it first.
Looks like she is planning another epic journey! Lol Great looking dog, had a few beagles growing up and loved everyone of them. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
