No more picking blue berries with A.J., he's a blue berry monster! Today he finally discovered that the berries were edible. I didn't mind him picking the lower branches. Unfortunately he was gobbling them so fast he started gagging himself . Then I see the bushes at eye level shaking and I look over to see him hopping on his hind legs gobbling the ones at my level...Lol I had to take him home.
I'll have to let hubby know not to freak out when his morning potty walk is black tomorrow

dog sitting for the in-laws, they have a something mini doodle...he's a good little dog but my 2 dogs are pissed as all hell. They like when he visits for a couple hours on a Sunday, but it's been 2 nights now and they have had it. Our goldendoodle A/K/A The Assassin has already started getting mean as F and real bitey. My Giant Schnauzer would be OK but the Assassin gets all riled up which gets him riled up and he can't tell which littler dog he is supposed to smash which frustrates him so he's barking almost non-stop.

My house is chaos right now. Sleeping in the guest room with the in-laws dog and Mrs. Noodles in the master with our two dogs otherwise everyone would be getting no sleep at all.

    Not doing this again.

So the shepard chased little Gerty again actually nipped her while he was chasing her she yelped and Pita was pissed the actually latched on the the shepards neck and hung like a pit bull, that shepard ran back home yipping. Neighbor 2 doors down was very apologetic I told them Pita is going to tear your dog up every time he come in out yard. Pita is a pain in the ass but at least she is our *****.

I do not tolerate my own dogs barking.
I cut visits real short if people let their dogs bark.
    (And let them know why)

A squeeze bulb of lemon juice in the mouth teaches em FAST.

The dogs made it clear they needed to go on car ride. Glad I shut the alarm off for the seat belt. Because it would be dinging all the time when they both feel the need to be in the front .

I have to get on the dogs for barking every damn day they bark at the neighbors, they bark when I get home, they bark when the "think" they hear something. Have pondered getting shock collars for them. In my defense I never bring my dogs anywhere except Pita she likes boat rides, otherwise dogs stay home. I hate it when guests other than my son bring dogs with them. My parents when they come up bring cleaning products incase (or when) their dogs piss. Hate those f'ing dogs. Not their fault my parents should not have dogs.

My wife and I have vowed no more dogs after our 3 are gone, they are all over 10 bet those little yappers live to be 20. We want the freedom to go at any time and be gone we can't do that now. Will be weird I have lived with dogs with the exception of college all my life.

I've mentioned A.J. is a running fool. He has, zero concept of his body and space. Today I hear a very loud crash and he barrels around the end of garden and collapses at my feet with a weird look on his face. I go to touch him and he flinched. Roll him over and he has managed to skin himself. I found where he hit the SM TRAILERS corner and a patch of skin and fur. Pretty sure he may have cracked a rib too. He's none to ambitious right now poor guy.

There is no stitching it . We disinfected it. It never bled, took hair and top layer of skin clean off. He's sore but OK, . I hope it taught him a lesson about running blindly at top speed everywhere.

you happen to get your golden from a breeder in Elburn? Looks very similar to ours and you're about the same distance away. I know our breeder has been around for about 15 years or so.

My non-hunting dog, an 11 year old Rottie "Gino" he has gotten old and has slowed down very quickly. He will be 12 in November and I will cherish every single day I have with him until he is ready.
