She's The Boss. She's really sweet with people but a stone cold killer bitc4 with small animals. Really smart and fast. She's killed several rabbits and squirrels and almost caught a few robins.

He's also really smart but a brute. He's great with us and family but he would absolutely mess up a full grown man and I can't trust him around kids.
Kind of sucks because he's got a great personality with us...huge sense of humor. he will literally set the little one up. I've seen him do things and then when I come down to scold him he'll walk over to her and kick her and tip his head at her to say "she did it" like a bad older brother. I am not joking.

We’ve been working diligently on the foundation training of basic commands and slowly introducing the shed work. This 13week old puppy is really surprising us. It’s pretty neat to see her use her nose for something we ask her to do and she’s doing great. We started the blood tracking today with the “Dog Bone Game Recovery Kit”. I’m still blown away. We’ll be doing videos next time. D8495B1B-A270-44E4-A8B1-BB8A924866C2.jpeg FF655304-16B0-413A-A052-593551089E09.jpeg

Went for a walk in the sun today on the public land. Didn’t see much for deer sign but got some retrieving in. The last one was probably one to many they were cooked but couldn’t convince them of that at the time.

Just came off a roof I'm working on.

My old buddy has a red squirrel trapped in a tree.

He will camp on that spot for hours now.

Just realized I do not not have a single picture of my dog and I together.
    Had to remedy that.

So Pita was a mole hunter back at the ranch, she would sit and listen then locate and dig. We have a couple retaining walls with the river sone in them and hostas. Pita was sitting in there and doing her sit and listen and bark at the ground then pull a few rock away and bark. This was weird because the only thing she would bark at was turtles. I went over and moved some rocks and holy crap it was a snapping turtle nest and they were just hatching. 33 turtles were in that nest that hatched. Yes I released the turtles to the bay where their mother came from. Found another makes 34 turtles.

Ever since my dog Zeva learned that she could negotiate the stairs on my new blind she comes up to see what I'm working on.

Our older dog started doing poorly last night. Took her in to the emergency vet right away and she could barely move her neck and was acting disoriented. Have her on pain meds and anti inflammatories now. She wont even wake up to say hi. The wife and I are very worried. Best dog ever.
