Rifle hunting in wyoming someone in our party shot a buck like that. when he cleaned it the whole carcass stunk so bad that we didn't even keep the meat, had an impressive rack so we caped it and buried the carcass when we got back home. somethings up with how skinny that buck is. i'd take him out in a heartbeat given the chance
Ended up emailing the pictures to the DNR asking about the tumor looking things and if I should cull him or what. Here is their response. -------------- Thank you for your question. Those appear to just be fibroma on the deer. They are harmless tumors that are found on the skin of a white-tailed deer. Experimental infections have shown that cutaneous fibromas are usually temporary. I would just leave him alone. Just let us know if you have any more questions. Thanks, Chris Christopher W.
