Looks like tumors or cysts. I honestly have no clue.

I had a doe some years ago with something similar on her eye, it ended up the size of maybe a softball then during winter it fell of, I'm guessing it froze off. She had matted hair for a while then I was never able to tell her apart anymore. Never knew what it was.

Looks like some sort of tumor but it does seem to be affecting the vision of that eye. Notice the lack of reflection compared to the other eye.

I would agree with the others. Animals get tumors, cysts, cancers too. I would venture to guess it is one of those three things. It could also be some injury that has healed strange as well.

someone tried to shoot it in the face with a 22? Idk. I'm not really sure what I would do either kill him and possible prevent an infection from spreading through the heard or let him walk and let nature take its course. good luck:)

Here is another shot of him. Looks like he has some sort of damage to is right front leg like someone made a bad shot on him. Also look how skinny he looks in this picture. Don't think he will survive the winter.

He looks like a very sickly deer, and I would shoot him given the opportunity. You may even be able to contact your conservation dept and inform them of this. They may allow you to put it down without burning a tag.

So shouldn't affect the meat or anything? If not I might just take him out if I get the chance.
