Anybody watch this show? I watch it quite often. I've always liked seeing how they break the cases. That being said, I can't imagine living the lives of some of these people... Victims, suspects, law enforcement. I always think to myself when I see the ghetto crime scenes, "why don't these people just pack up and leave?". I understand that it's "all the know", but still...
I watch shows like that all the time. Your right watching some of the cases can't imagine what all the peole involved go through. Especially the officers, gotta be stressful and feel like your chasing your tail sometimes.
The one I just watched... Middle of the night a small house got shot up by an AK, killing a 24yo female correctional officer and a 2yo boy. They ID'd the suspects, found the weapons, but could not find a witness to come forwards. Charges were dropped. I was so pissed.
I have watched it with my son a few times. Teachable moments here. I asked what do almost every one of these victims and suspects have in common? Answer... place they shouldn't have been in the first place... and they stayed too long when things started going south.
My wife and I have been watching that show for a few years now. It's great, and I also like seeing how they break the case. It's amazing how little information the witnesses will provide in those rough and tumble areas due to repercussions. I couldn't imagine living anywhere near the "Pork n Beans" neighborhood in Miami. It's like a war zone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk www.skyangler.com
I like the show. We had a young man murdered in my county a few months ago where a man was stabbed and left for dead by himself. Within under 48 hours the detectives arrested like 10-12 people in connection with the murder. I was amazed.
