Haven't painted my face since Halloween the year after I got out of the military and was too cheap to buy a real costume. :D

Occasionally I will even go ninja, but only to lure them in for the kill. Otherwise they stay clear of us commandos. [IMG]

nothing is more bad ass than a painted face! i use mine early in the season and late in the season because in early season it is much too hot to have to breathe your own warm breath. And i use it late in the season becuase the hat part of my facemask is not thick enough to keep me warm so i wear a fleece beanie and paint my face. Plus if im still hunting in late season i need alittle luck right?

No. All this thread did was entice a bunch of guys to show us how ugly they really are. Like I said before, many of you would be better off wearing a mask...of any kind.

I still respect the art of the face paint.

I wear a face mask simply because I got burnt out on wearing face paint when I was in the military. I was forced to wear it when we were on field exercises so I'll never put it on again. Don't get me wrong I think it's very effective but anyone that has ever served in the good ole US Marine Corps. knows that when you have something shoved down your throat for 4 years your not going to do it willingly when you don't have to.

Completely understand. First thing I did when I got out of the Chair Force was to grow a beard. I then shaved it down to a goatee, and now I'm back to a clean shaven face most of the time.

I use face paint every time I hit the woods. I have done a bunch of things different this season and have seen way more deer than all of last season combined. I have had more deer within 40yd that I saw last season all together. One of them is wearing face paint. It is probably just the mind frame it puts me in when I put it on.
