Actually I tried this whole face paint thing a few years ago but it just didn't seem to work for me. Never even saw a deer. Don't know what I did wrong.

I used to do it periodically but now, Its all facepaint for this guy, something about applying the "paint" to your face makes you feel closer to nature, closer too... bad@$$. Not only that but I hate trying to find my kisser button through a mesh mask. I will wear one sometimes if the weather is really cold.

I too have become tired with face paint, the army sucks it right out of you. They actually teach a class on how to properly apply it, well I don't remember much besides the use of dark colors, browns and blacks on the high points of the face i.e the cheek bones, nose bridge, jaw line, forhead. I still paint from time to time and I don't take it that seriously, smear some paint on good enough. I think I'll do it a little more this season maybe not though we'll see how I feel after the first clean up.

I actually started it last year after doing interviews while filming my hunts. I noticed how my face glowed in some of the in tree interviews so I decided to break it up a little, and I hate face masks unless its really cold.

I like the paint but I sweat a lot down here so by the time I get back from hunting I've wiped it all off.

I'm getting used to the net hoods and it also keeps the mosquitos and bugs off your face.

Never had an issue of my face showing. Have had many bucks stare at me and can't think of once that I was busted due to my face showing. Do use a neck piece and often pull it up over my mouth.

Yes I do, I hate facemasks.... Unless it's late season hunting and freezing, then I use a facemask.

Use Noxzema to get your paint off easily, guys. You will be shocked at how easy it is.

Personally, I paint or mask, depending on the weather.
