I'm ninja. I use the headcover.

I also hunt a place where we hunters are supposed to stay low profile and not scare the hippy park visitors. Walking down the trail with your stand on your back and a bow in your hand makes it hard enough to not scare 'em. Face paint would probably make them faint.

I started this just because I dont like wearing a mask because of anchoring issues plus it makes for a good kill photo.

Paints a little faded in this one but I had a 1.5 mile drag in 80 degree weather.

    No no no,

Theres the ninja with the mask.

    Commando with the face paint.

And the village idiot with the mud and poop.

    To each his own.

I have worn masks and dislike them so I started painting my face and killed my first doe with a bow last year and painted my face this year and buck down on fourth day of season so I'm def a gonna continue the tradition. DSCF3600.jpg first bow kill.jpg

I like to wear the face paint. I just use some cheap stuff. Just another thing to do that makes me feel like I have increased the odds of getting a nice buck. Masks work too, but I don't like them unless it is really cold.

I like the paint, sucks trying to get it off but the mask is just too hot during bow ssn in the south..also sometimes hard to see through the peephole sight with a mask

When I was younger In my teens I loved putting this stuff on. I came up with some kick ass patterns. I HATED washing this stuff off and that was the only reason I quit putting It on. Once In a while I'll use ashes from our camp fire while were bear hunting and put that on my face. Does the same thing but washes off so much easier.

I can't stand face mask's so that won't be an option. Camoing your face up makes a big difference If you ask me. Specially for the younger folks or just people In general who have oily/shiny skin. I let my beard grow some stubble which In turn takes the shine away and breaks my face up some. Still though It don't do what camo on your face does.

Thank you my young Ninja apprentice. It is true that us (Ninjas) wear mask, it is the way of the Ninja or Team 18.

I like to wear face paint but it is too hard to get off. So Instead I use a wine bottle cork. Just burn the end till it is charred black then use it to paint face. It comes off very easy because it is basically just ash. They are also free and last a long time.

BTW I am new around here but have been lurking around for awhile, just figured I'd share something I think works pretty good.

Just like a good excuse to drink more wine. <thumbs up>

For the ninja's, Buff makes some good options for both warm and cold weather. I also wear one when fishing in cold weather, and sometimes in open water during high sun. Very comfortable as far as masks go.
