    Well the big one I wanted with he bow is dead. Took my 9 year old nephew of to my spot with his youth .223 and he tagged his first deer. It's awesome but at the same time I am kinda bummed. Lol. That buck has teased me since the first of October. I guess now I will tag a smaller one to get us some points.

    Been wanting this guy and have hunted him hard!

    My dad tagged him last friday, I never seen him while on stand, my dad's 3rd time in the stand this season he shot him right before dark! Bummed me out but I was in the woods with him that night so it was good memories for the both of us!

    I am in the same boat as you guys. I had a nice 8 point with a kicker that was showing up on camera during daylight hours but couldn't catch up with him and my dad wound up getting him! Happy for him but now have to shift my focus to some other bucks we have around!! I am down to my last week of bow season and then the guns come out! Hopefully I can make something happen!!

    Some points are better than no points I guess.
    Tagged a 6. There is a nice 8 that is a sibling to this one and it is the one I actually thought I was getting. I was hunting over a thick spot back behind my house and it snuck in behind me. [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]
    91 points to my count.

    Yea. Heck that just means there is more people keep them on the move. Rain yesterday, cold front coming in, gun season full swing, and rut kicking in has got the deer moving like they don't have a care in the world.
