    Trying a new spot. Hiked in and set up in the ground blind today. Right before light I heard something run past but other than that it's been very quite.

    Seen a buck but never got closer than 76 yards. Then got down and went scouting and found something that is truly awesome. And to be honest, the last thing I would ever expect to find in the woods.

    Here is the engine. Looking at it from the back. You can see the turkey feathers of the nozzle are blue from the heat.
    It is on a old military base. Every now and then you find like 50cal brass or a ammo can or a flare tube. Not not a jet. Lol.
    During turkey season I found a old pillbox.
    It is public but you have to sit through a safety class on base safety. It's archery only.
    It's called Fort Chaffee.

    That is bad *** man! No one could ever top a "guess what I found while out hunting" story, you'd be like "that's cool, have you ever found a plane?" Lol

    That's exactly what I thought. Lol. Called a buddy that hunts out there all the time and lead the story off with " I have a question, what's the coolest thing you ever found out on Chaffee?" He said "a military tent left to rot. Why what did you find?"
    "A EFFING FIGHTER JET!"
    Lol. He called BS so I sent a picture.
    We are going back to hunt there tomorrow. Lol.
