I never use any Bow stands or holders. I always just leave it on my lap or rest the cam on my toe. But that's pretty much cause I'm too lazy to add one more thing to my setup
Well I am less than a week away from my opening day! Of course the forecast for Saturday is 80% chance of rain! Ugh!!! I hope it changes between now and then! I hate bowhunting in the rain!
Not sure what kind of temps they're predicting with that rain, but hopefully not too cool. Then it's at least tolerable.
During gun season I like to trade out the Bow for my AR15 300 BLACKOUT pistol and get out of the tree and walk/stalk take advantage of silent walking and less scent dispersion
Well the forecast just keeps getting worse for my opening weekend! Looks like tropical storm Joaquin is headed straight for New Jersey this weekend with early rainfall predictions of 5-8". Should be fun!
This trophy hunting is hard work. I have never in my life let so many deer walk on by. The green circle is very thick area that they bed down in. The red lines are deer trails. The stand to the left is a good one with scraps and rubs everywhere but he passes the stand checking them about 0430-0600. I have seen him in the moon light and on camera but not in the day yet. It's such hard work but so worth it. I'm still scrambling to find the bucks on my property. Hopefully the rain isn't too bad and I can get out Sunday am
