Same here. When I go I don't come out unless an emergency. All my buddies were texting and calling asking if I wanted to go eat lunch but I just text them back and said I have my lunch. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
I hunted Sunday evenin and yesterday mornin. Evening hunt was awsome. Saw every buck I've had on camera besides the main one I'm after. 7 bucks 6 doe and a coon. The mornin hunt was no good. 4 turkey a coon a chipmonk, and 2736 squirrels
Ok guys I trying to decide. I'm off as of now it's 90 degrees and I am free till about 5:30 then I'll have to leave. Do I go hunt now? Or leave it alone.
Personally if I can't hunt until dark I stay out of there but where I am when it's hot the deer don't usually move until just before dark. Not sure about your situation.
Well I went with Dunlap to the mountains to do some scouting and as we got to the spot (about 2 miles from the truck and on foot), I got a call from the wife saying she was rushing my little boy to the ER with a huge gash above his eye. Needless to say it was a rush back to the truck and not very productive day in the sticks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am covered in scars. I really hope this one does not leave much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh man. That's gnarly. Just the thought of that happening to my daughter is making me sick. Thank God he's ok.
Oh he is tough for sure. He was done crying about it on the way to the hospital and then in the waiting room my wife said he asked his papa if he knew what would make him feel better, with the response of skittles. Lol. Then the wife said he teared up a few seconds when they numbed it but after that he just sat there eating skittles and never cried a bit while they stitched it up. The nurse said he was the first kid she had ever had that wasn't throwing a fit and or needed to be restrained. I got there when they were checking out and we told him he could go eat anywhere he wanted. His response "turkey sandwich and blue ice cream with marshmallows and gummy bears". Lol. Heck of a gash! What a trooper! So I checked one of my cams Monday. It had 14300 photos on it. Still going through them but these are the best so far. Nothing real exciting but good to see some bucks in the area finally.
Oh, and this is my first Bushnell cam and I hate it. Lots of washed out pics during daylight transitions and all black photos at night. I'll be sticking withy the Brownings and Moultries. May try a stealth cam next.
