I went to a bar in Cincinnati once where the Urge and 311 were supposed to play together (311 might have been a rumor; pre-internet everywhere and my memory from 98-02 can be hazy.) 311 didn't show, but Kid Rock did. Amazing show.

I have one word for the late 90s music scene - Napster

I liked Kid Rock when he first came out.
Bullgod was great. Haven't listened to much of his new stuff except the gay stuff of his on the radio.

Speaking of punk did anyone ever listen to Fugazi? The album 13 songs was killer

They were still handing out cassettes for their demo singles. Think I lost the cassette(have to search) but still have the autographed jacket for it.

WOW!! I'm way out of touch. All I can come up with, are 80's bands. Am I that old?

I have yet to post on this one as I did pro sound for about 6 years and it ruined me for most genres... But I can say for sure that Brett Micheal's is a *********. I ran monitors for him at a show he headlined (for all of the 50 ppl that bought tickets) he refused sound check and told a 8ish year old kid no to a autograph... Needless to say when he was singing ( to me it sounded like2 cats humping but we will call it singing) every Rose with a cowboy hat and hands cupping the mic I "accidently tweaked the high end freq and pinged him pretty hard. I got a dirty look for the first one and a celeb shout out for the second.

Mark having Brett Micheal's say WTF sound guy off the bucket list

Holy cow how did i not see this thread earlier. So many good bands and songs already. I still listen to most of the stuff thats listed over any new stuff. My pandora is full of almost nothing newer than the early 2000's.

Kinda all late 90's adding, but hey i was just then getting into HS ha ha.
